Do I need a 4WD vehicle to get to Villa El Tucán?

No. A 4WD vehicle is not required to reach Villa El Tucán. The property is easily accessible with a standard car (2WD or sedan). Only the last 1.2 km is on a well-maintained gravel road, which is passable year-round, including during the rainy season.

It says breakfast is included — what are the options for other meals? Can guests eat on-site but pay separately? Are there restaurants or a grocery store nearby?

For lunch and dinner, several restaurants are available in Bijagua village, less than 3 km away. Driving is recommended, as there are no sidewalks for safe walking. We also offer dinner service on select evenings with 24-hour advance booking. Delivery service is available for eating on-site, including the poolside area. Grocery stores are available in the village — each villa has a small refrigerator.

Yes, Villa El Tucán has a shared unheated pool, as well as trails, gardens, access to the Bijagua River, a yoga terrace, and a relaxation area. Massages are available by appointment, subject to availability.

Is there wifi and parking?

Yes, free wifi is available throughout the villas, common areas, and most of the property. Free parking is also available on-site, with locked access at night for guest security.
